I love shopping at Mallorca's beautiful markets. The variety of the products always helps to inspire new creations. I have been fascinated by Mediterranean cuisine for many years, which is why I came to this wonderful island after my training at the "Traube Tonbach" 5-star gourmet hotel in the Black Forest, whose restaurants have received awards and recognition.
Here in Mallorca, I worked in Herta and Peter Himbert's famous "Moli des Torrent" restaurant in Santa Maria del Cami. My next stop was chef Josef Sauerschell's Michelin star awarded "Es Raco des Teix" in Deia, where I was sous-chef.
The island has become my home, and the decision to work as a private chef gives me the opportunity have direct contact with my guests as well as cooking for them. I find this so unique and exciting.
